Who We Are

This privacy notice explains how KVELI Watches handles your personal data. The data controller is Avenio AS, organisation number 936 966 667, registered at Hallsetlia 2, 7027 Trondheim, Norway. For any privacy question or request, contact us at john@kveli.watch.

What Data We Collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, country, shipping address and phone number. This information is collected through Stripe at checkout. If you join our launch list, we collect your email address.

We do not collect or store your card details. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe as our payment processor.

Why We Use Your Data and On What Legal Basis

We use your data to process your order, take payment, deliver your watch, send order and shipping confirmations, and handle warranty claims and withdrawals. The legal basis for this is the performance of our contract with you, and compliance with legal obligations such as bookkeeping requirements.

If you sign up for our launch list, we send you occasional emails about KVELI on the basis of your consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who We Share Data With

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: Stripe for payment processing and checkout, Supabase for secure data storage, and our email service provider for order confirmations and launch-list emails. Each processes your data only on our instructions and under data processing agreements.

Where any provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your personal data.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep order and transaction data for as long as required by Norwegian bookkeeping and accounting rules, and for as long as needed to honour your two-year warranty and your statutory complaint rights. Launch-list email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, after which they are removed from our mailing list.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email john@kveli.watch and we will respond without undue delay. If you believe we have handled your data incorrectly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.no.
